Therapy for Individuals and Couples #01

Emma Beagrie is a psychologist, psychotherapist and counsellor with specialist training and experience in the field of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Emma has full accredited status with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

Emma believes that the relationship between the therapist and client is the most important element for supporting and encouraging change. She promotes a calm and friendly atmosphere whilst also providing a professional and safe environment for people to explore their difficulties.

She offers counselling, psychotherpy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for:

  • Depression (Including post-natal depression)
  • Anxiety and panic disorder
  • Low self esteem
  • Stress
  • Relationship issues
  • Obsessions and compulsions
  • Phobias
  • Post traumatic stress disorder
  • Anger and other emotional difficulties
  • Offending behaviour

This list is not comprehensive - many people who take up therapy find their difficulties hard to name, define or describe. If you recognise something in the list below that might apply to your present experiences then CBT will help:

  • Experiencing difficulty with personal or professional relationships
  • Wanting to change certain patterns of behaviour
  • Feeling empty, lonely, abandoned
  • Feeling afraid, panicky and stressed
  • Feeling in crisis or in a state of breakdown
  • Problems at work, unemployment

Emma is also trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Couples Therapy (CBCT)
